Chicken tacos : how to summer feast properly!

  

Hi friends, I'm taking a little bit of time to write you a food post! Yesterday, for dinner, I decided to make some tacos. Homemade all the way, with some help from videos I've seen on Youtube, and twisted to my liking.

For starters, you need your tortilla (personal preference for soft corn tortilla but feel free to do what you like the most). It's very easy and pretty quick to achieve.
Then you add every toppings you have in your fridge and get creative.

Ingredients:


-1 cup of corn flour
-1 cup of whole wheat flour
-1,5 cup of warm water
-1 tsp of salt
----
- 1 chicken breast (or any meat / tofu of your choice)
- red cabbage
- red onions
- diced tomatoes
- diced avocado
- ranch sauce or heavy cream
- buffalo seasoning (paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder)

How to make it:


Combine the flour mixture into a bowl, and add the salt and warm water.
Knead the dough until it gets like a play-dough consistency. Let it rest for 30 min under a damp towel.
Prepare your toppings.
When the tortilla dough is ready, cut it in small ball shapes, place them between some plastic freezer bag and press until it forms thin round tortillas.
Cook it on medium heat non stick pan for 45 sec on each side and place under some papers. It will continue cooking slowly and keep it moist.
Assemble your tacos, and enjoy with friends, family or just yourself 👀💛
