Hey friends, I wanted to share some skincare content with you today :)
As you may know if you are here for quite some time now, you know I have dipped my toes in the beauty industry for several years.
Even though I did quit my job as a beauty specialist and customer relation manager, my love for all things clean skincare is still very much present!
I figured I would give you some product recs and also a little blab of my current daily skincare line-up in case this could be helpful for you guys.
And fun fact, my friends (boys and girls) do ask me pretty often what I use and what I would recommend them for a minimalistic skincare regimen.
Just so you know the context, I have a normal to combination skin with blemishes and some redness :)
I believe that hydration is key no matter what your skin conditions are so this is what we are focusing today.
Step 1 : Double cleanse your face
Double cleansing is key :) This is the first thing I would recommend if you want to start to take care of your skin.
First, a cleansing oil and then a cleansing gel.
OH MY CREAM Cleansing oil : You know this one is a staple for me! The texture is fluid and very easy-to-rinse including waterproof make-up, as well as traces of pollution and excess sebum. The skin is soft with no tugging effect.
DEMAIN BEAUTY Go For Glow : This cleansing gel is perfect for every skin types as it is very gentle. It eliminates impurities and dead skin cells while boosting skin balance. This product is packed with prebiotics and probiotics like all the brand's skincare products which are perfect for preserving the microflora. It leaves the skin healthy, balanced and soothed. Since it contains pomegranate enzymes, it does also have a light exfoliating action which is pretty convenient if you are not a fan of using a long list of different products in your routine. I do, because I love skincare and pampering a lot but I sometimes like to keep my routine as simple and fast as possible, especially when traveling!
Step 2 : Treat your skin
PAI SKINCARE Hyaluronic Acid Booster : Boosters are very convenient to use as you can mix them with any kind of skincare product to boost the hydrating properties :) This specific one is a good match if you are looking for a hydration implement in your beauty routine. The texture is very light and sinks rapidly into the skin. If you are familiar with the brand, you know that they provide very effective yet gentle skincare products, which is always great for sensitive skins like mine.
Step 3 : Hydrate your skin
MADARA Deep Moisture Balancing Fluid : It is a very light face cream but it does bring enough hydration and comfort to my skin. I usually tend to keep it for daytime use or when the temperatures are rising a little bit but I have been loving it lately.
Here was a quick walk-through of everything I've been using on my skin for the past 2 months now, and I would say that this line up works fine for me and should also be a great starting point if you are just starting getting into skincare.
Until next time, I wish you a lovely day <3
MUCH LOVE. xx
